#BMovieManiacs Event: The Man From Planet X

Hi Maniacs,

Please join us this Friday as we say goodbye to William Schallert. He feels like a close friend to a lot of us, as he was one of the faces of television growing up. Along with Whit Bissell, Charles Lane, and John Hoyt. Best known as Patty Duke’s dad, he was all over movies and TV, from westerns to Star Trek. And sci-fi/horror, which brings us to our feature presentation for this week.

He is a bit out of character, as he plays a bit of a weasel in this one. I blame his mustache.

As for the story…
PlanetX1
“Hello, I’m Enid. And you are…?”

Well, I think that’s enough about the story. The good news is, they apparently remained good friends.

Hope to see you Friday, May 13th (Aaaack! Just realized) at 8 Pacific, 11 Eastern time at Twitter Tag #BMovieManiacs. So long for now, friends.

#BMovieManiacs Event: Death Ship

Say it ain’t so, Joe! 🙁

Hi, Maniacs.
Please be with us this Friday night, as we pay tribute to one of our favorites: George Kennedy. If he were here right now, he’d probably say “If you had any guts, we’d be on the runway by now!!” or something equally poignant.

We’ve chosen Death Ship for our tribute. It’s from 1980, which is a bit new for us here. But hopefully we’ll survive. Which is probably better than the passengers on the ship fare, I would imagine.

So hope to see you THIS Friday, March 4th at 8 Pacific, 11 Eastern at Twitter tag #BMovieManiacs.
